Celebrating women's hair at its most dramatic
Back to makeovers index
Experimenting with a photo of a famous face - one who’s particularly renowned for her long hair - and giving them a radical makeover is always great fun, and the images I’ve usually chosen to work with are of those women we’re least likely to ever see donning such a short style in reality.
Most of them have spent between four and twenty-odd hours in Adobe Photoshop, depending on the amount of cloning and colour-correction required for seamless blending of the celeb & hair images. In my experience though, the faster the illusion develops between this pairing, the more realistic the final result tends to be.
Time constraints have prevented me from working on anything new but, rest assured, plenty more fakeovers will be added to the current selection over the course of time - especially now they’ve a home to call their own.
